Maiti Nepal also conducts a program, in the form of a campaign, to help arrest the
pimps and the accused who are involved in girls and women trafficking, and bring
them before law courts.

Maiti Nepal has established a separate
Legal Assistance and Counseling Section to
provide free legal assistance to the returned
trafficked girls and women to help them
lodge cases in the courts and initiate
legal proceedings.

With the help of the Nepal Police and other
well wishers, Maiti Nepal has collared pimps
involved in girls and women trafficking and
handed them over to the Police. Through
Maiti Nepal’s initiative, the victimized girls
and women have filed cases against pimps

who have been arrested. Maiti Nepal has been successful working as a moderator
in providing free legal assistance to the victimized girls and women and
in initiating legal proceedings.
