The Duchess of Edinburgh has followed in the footsteps of King Charles III of the United Kingdom by visiting Maiti Nepal in Kathmandu, where she was given a handmade gift to take home for the monarch in honor of “the lives he has touched.” Both the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are making their first-ever visit to Nepal for a six-day tour to celebrate its close ties with the UK.
