More than 900 women go missing in Morang

Close relatives have been found to be involved in trafficking of Nepali adolescent girls and women to India, from Morang. Maiti Nepal Morang Coordinator Binod Pokharel said close relatives – maternal uncle, maternal aunt, father’s sister and her husband – were involved in trafficking. At a press conference organised by Maiti Nepal, Morang, today, informed that as many as 37 women and girls were rescued from the bordering area from April 2020 to March 2021.
